At Eco Nalanda, we believe that restoring the planet's ecology requires a collective effort grounded in sustainable and scientific methods. Every individual can make a difference by starting where they are and taking meaningful action to address environmental challenges for a better future.
Our mission is ambitious yet vital: planting 1,500 tree species by 2030 to establish a thriving biodiversity arboretum and permaculture model. Over the past three decades, we have transformed once-barren land into lush green spaces that support diverse plant and animal life.

Our Chairman
His Eminence Ogyen Samtenlingpa Karma Rinpoche serves as the esteemed Chairman of the Bodhisattvas Trust M.R.C (Eco Nalanda). Recognized as the reincarnation of Yogi Terton Ogyen Samtenlingpa Rinpoche, this sacred lineage has been affirmed by His Holiness the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa Rangjung Rigpe Dorje and renowned Nyingma masters.
The recognition was further endorsed by His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Orgyen Trinley Dorje, cementing his spiritual leadership.

Eco Nalanda provides comprehensive training in diverse fields, including food processing, automobile maintenance, electrical work, computer applications, pottery making, organic farming, charcoal making (pyrolysis), and entrepreneurial skills. Beyond skill development, Eco Nalanda is passionately committed to environmental conservation and fostering community engagement, creating a holistic approach to sustainable growth and empowerment.
